HAYS, Kan. – Both the Fort Hays State Men's and Women's Basketball teams have clinched spots in the MIAA Tournament, presented by Southern Bank. The tournament is celebrating its 20
th year at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City this year. Take advantage of discounted tickets for another week at the FHSU Athletic Department through end of business hours on Wednesday (Mar. 1). The tournament runs March 1-5.

All-Session Tickets - $50 (Box office price in Kansas City is $75)
Single-Session Tickets - $20
Student Single-Session Tickets - $10
Children Ages 6 and under - FREE
Though tournament brackets will be officially released during the evening of Saturday, February 25, both the FHSU women and men are projected to play their first games in the quarterfinals on Friday, March 3. The teams are mathematically locked to finish between third and sixth place in the standings, and the No. 4 vs. No. 5 and No. 3 vs. No. 6 seed games are scheduled for both genders on Friday.
Tickets can be purchased in the FHSU Athletic Office (Office 138 of Cunningham Hall) on the campus of Fort Hays State University during business hours (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays) or by calling the office at (785) 628-4050. Act fast to take advantage of the cost savings, as supplies are limited through the FHSU Athletics Office.
Games take place over five consecutive days, with seeds seven through 10 playing opening round games on Wednesday, March 1. The second day (March 2) will feature the top two seeds against Wednesday's winners. Quarterfinal games on Friday (March 3) will be No. 3 through No. 6 seed matchups. The semifinals will be on Saturday (March 4) and the Championship games will be on Sunday (March 5).
This is the fourth year the conference will have a 10-team format for both women and men, with all games inside of Municipal Auditorium. Fort Hays State was the lone institution that had both men's and women's teams reach the semifinals at last season's tournament, with the women going on to capture their second MIAA Tournament trophy.
