TOPEKA, Kan. - The Fort Hays State track and field team racked up 11 provisional performances and one event victory on day two of the Washburn Open & Multis Saturday (Feb. 4). The Tiger men, currently ranked ninth in the USTFCCCA DII rating index, recorded nine of the provisional marks on the day.

The nine provisonal marks achieved by the Tiger men are their most in a single regular season event since the 2018 Alex Francis Classic.

Hayden Albright surpassed the provisional pace in a pair of events, running a personal-best 6.84 in the 60m dash to finish seventh while running the 400m dash in 48.37, also good for seventh place.

The Tiger men added four provisional marks in the mid-distance races, including two each in the 800m run and the mile. Ethan Lang finished second in the 800m, crossing the line in 1:51.18, with Aaron Mangan close behind in fourth with a time of 1:52.23.

She finished fourth in the race, just in front of Reba Mader, who's time of 57.42 is good for third on the DII list. Taylor Savolt was eighth on the race with a time of 57.75, ranking her fourth on the same chart.
