Albright Selected to CSC Academic All-America Team for Second-Straight Year

AUSTIN, Texas – Hayden Albright of Fort Hays State track and field was named to the CSC Academic All-America Track & Field/Cross Country Team for 2023-24. He is now a two-time CSC Academic All-America selection after being named to the first team last year. This award honors a combination of academic and athletic accomplishments of the individuals selected.
 
Albright became an All-America performer for the fourth time in his career at FHSU as a member of the distance medley relay team that finished sixth at the NCAA Indoor Championships in 2024. He is now a four-time national qualifier at FHSU. Albright is a two-time MIAA champion in relay events and an eight-time All-MIAA performer overall. He is a six-time USTFCCCA All-Region performer. He currently holds two individual FHSU records and was a member of four record-holding relay teams at FHSU. Academically, Albright has earned the MIAA Scholar-Athlete honor six times. He is a seven-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. Albright holds a 3.78 cumulative GPA as a Cybersecurity major at FHSU.

Albright gives FHSU its 71st CSC Academic All-America selection all-time for all sports. FHSU's first CSC Academic All-America selection occurred in 1975. FHSU now has 41 Academic All-America selections since joining the MIAA in 2006-07. The track and field program at FHSU has now received 19 CSC Academic All-America selections all-time.
