Fort Hays State Women's Wrestling will be in action Monday night (Dec. 1) in a tri-dual hosted by Adams State University. The Tigers will take on Simon Fraser University of Canada at 6 p.m. CT (5 p.m. MT) and then Adams State at 8 p.m. CT (7 p.m. MT).
Fort Hays State is 1-0 in dual action so far this season after a 30-16 win over the Oklahoma State University club team back on November 15. Simon Fraser is also 1-0 so far this year after a 42-5 win over Linfield University back on November 2. Adams State will be wrestling its first two duals of the season.
Fort Hays State will be facing Simon Fraser in dual action for its first time, while FHSU notched a 39-11 dual win over Adams State in Hays last year.
Fort Hays State goes into this dual ranked No. 13 in the latest NWCA Top 25 rankings for NCAA schools. All three of FHSU's individually ranked wrestlers will be available for action on Monday evening, which includes
Leiannah Landreth at 117 (No. 10),
Dylen Ritchey at 145 (No. 8), and
Isabella Renfro at 180 (No. 5).
Following Monday's dual, the Tigers return home for a weekend of action at Gross Memorial Coliseum, where they will dual Minot State on Friday evening (Dec. 5) before hosting the FHSU-Bob Smith Open on Saturday (Dec. 6).
