The Fort Hays State University women's wrestling team hosts a pair of events over the weekend. The No. 10 ranked Tigers host Minot State in dual action on Friday night (Dec. 5) before hosting the annual Bob Smith Open on Saturday (Dec. 6) starting at 9 a.m. Over 150 wrestlers are projected to compete in the tournament, spread across 12 teams and different clubs. The Tigers have 23 athletes projected to compete in the tournament.
Fort Hays State vs. Minot State
Fort Hays State enters Friday night's dual with a 3-0 record, fresh off wins over Simon Fraser and Adams State back on Monday. Minot State enters at 4-2. Fort Hays State still has three nationally ranked individuals, but only one is expected to compete in the dual.
