The Fort Hays State men's and women's track and field teams will continue their indoor season this weekend (Feb. 13-14) when they travel to Pittsburg, Kan. for the 11th Annual Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic.

The Tiger women head into the weekend ranked 22nd in Division II thanks to three national qualifying performances, including a pair that rank inside the top four nationally. Baalmann leads the country in the pole vault with her school-record clearance of 14-1.25, while Linenberger ranks fourth in the high jump with a top mark of 5-10. McCullough ranks 22nd in Division II with a school-record time of 16:49.86 in the 5,000m.

The men's squad has put together six national qualifying marks this season, including a pair from Tolar in the heptathlon (5,117 - 9th) and the long jump (23-6.75, 35th) and four in the pole vault in Ball (16-7.25, 21st), Angove (16-6, 23rd), Younger (16-0.75) and Deges (15-10, 41st).

This is the third of four trips to Pittsburg for the Tigers during the indoor season. The Tigers have two national qualifying marks so far inside the Plaster Center and will return at the end of the month for the MIAA Championships (Feb. 27-March 1).
