NORMAN, Okla. - The Fort Hays State men's golf team had three individuals named 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, announced Tuesday (August 4) by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Jordan McCaslin,
Chutithep Rungpajchim and
Cooper Scheck all received the honor this season. FHSU's three honorees were tied for the most in the MIAA.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
McCaslin posted a stroke average of 76.23 across 30 rounds while compiling a GPA of 3.71 as a finance major. Rungpajchim put together a stroke average of 74.33 in 30 rounds while holding a GPA of 3.40 as a health and human performance major emphasizing in sports management/recreation. Scheck compiled a stroke average of 71.78 in 36 rounds while maintaining a perfect 4.00 GPA as a health and human performance major emphasizing in sport and exercise therapy.
A total of 12 MIAA student-athletes received the honor, including three from Central Oklahoma and Rogers State, two from Arkansas-Fort Smith and one from Northeastern State.
