Calderon went 3-0 to win the 133-pound title at the Bethany College Open. He edged Kaiden Hudson of Bacone College in his first match 4-3, then posted a fall over Matt Landgraff of Oklahoma City University in the semifinals. He defeated Trey Trujillo of Hastings College in the finals 5-3. Calderon was one of three Tigers to win their respective weight classes at the tournament.
