Bailey Boxberger helped the Tiger softball team complete a 2-0 week to begin conference play with wins over the Pittsburg State Gorillas on Friday (Mar. 1). Boxberger went 5-for-7 on the day with five RBI and two runs scored. She belted her first two home runs of the season, with one in each game including a 3-run blast in the night cap. The former home run pushed the Tigers in front in the top half of the seventh frame, eventually making it the game-winning score over the Gorillas.
