A native of Prairie View, Kan., Bill Greving was a NAIA All-American selection in his senior season of 1968-69. That year, Greving averaged 16.9 points and 8.7 rebounds per game, shooting 51.7 percent from the field and scoring 372 points over 22 games played. He was also an All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and All-NAIA District 10 selection that year. He was an All-CIC 2nd Team selection his junior year of 1967-68 when he averaged 15.7 points and 8.0 points per game, second only in scoring to Fred Andregg, who is a member of the Tiger Sports Hall of Fame. Greving, who set a new school record for career field goal percentage at the time (.529) still ranks in the Top 10 of that category at FHSU. He was a two-year letterwinner at FHSU after transferring from Dodge City Community College.
