Skip Numrich, native of Scott City, Kan., was an All-American Honorable Mention quarterback at Fort Hays State in 1976.  During that year he set six individual school records and led the Central States Intercollegiate Conference in passing with 1,562 yards.  He helped guide the Tigers to their only CSIC championship in 1976, going 5-1 in conference play. Numrich ranks fifth at FHSU for touchdowns in a single season with 17, coming during his junior year in 1976.  As a senior in 1977, he posted the fifth-best completion percentage in a single season of 53.4 percent. Numrich currently ranks sixth in career passing yards at FHSU with 2,952, sixth in career passing attempts with 426, sixth in passing completions with 216, and sixth in passing touchdowns with 27.  He played two seasons at FHSU.
